Tension in Sikar: Villagers Protest for Third Day Over Alleged Kidnapping of Young Woman

Sikar, Rajasthan:
A case of an alleged kidnapping of a young woman from Patoda village in the Nechhwa police station area has sparked intense unrest. Accusing a married man from a particular community of luring and taking the woman away, villagers have been staging a sit-in outside the police station for the third consecutive day.

The villagers allege that despite filing multiple complaints, police showed negligence, triggering widespread anger and leading to a mass protest.

Special Police Teams Formed to Trace the Woman

With tension rising in Patoda village, senior police and administrative officials reached the spot and held discussions with the agitating villagers. Police sources said special teams have been deployed across various regions to trace the missing woman and verify the allegations. Authorities assured that the truth behind the incident would emerge soon, and the woman would be recovered safely.

Protest Intensifies, Family Firm on Demands

The protesters declared that their agitation will continue until the woman is safely brought back and the accused is arrested. Station House Officer Ashok Kumar said the investigation has been accelerated considering the sensitivity of the case.

“Every lead is being pursued. The police are working with full seriousness, and no negligence will be tolerated. The girl will be traced as soon as possible,” he added.
