The issue arose after the name of Tej Pratap appeared on a medical prescription for Anushka Yadav, the mother of a newborn daughter. The prescription listed him as the “husband/father” of the patient, fueling speculation and debate.

According to reports, the prescription in question is from Varalika Motherhood Hospital in Kankarbagh, Patna, dated 7 October 2025. It was issued by Dr. Ritu Raj and details Anushka Yadav’s health and treatment. In the column for husband or father, Tej Pratap Yadav’s name has been recorded, which has triggered widespread attention and media discussion.

Tej Pratap Denies Any Connection

Responding to the controversy, Tej Pratap Yadav categorically denied any relationship with Anushka Yadav or her child. He described the entire incident as a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation, claiming it was a conspiracy against him. Drawing an analogy with the historical figure “Jaichand,” he accused certain individuals of betrayal and said that attempts were being made to deliberately implicate him.

This is not the first time Tej Pratap Yadav’s name has been linked with Anushka Yadav. Ahead of the 2025 elections, a photograph of Tej Pratap with Anushka Yadav was shared on his official social media account. Tej Pratap later claimed that his account had been hacked. This incident, along with other disciplinary issues, led to his six-year suspension from the party by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
