“Read the Gita in Sanskrit and Understand Its Meaning”

Noticing her fluent English, Tej Pratap switched to Hindi and asked her,
“Do you study?”
The girl replied that she was preparing for the BPSC examination.

Pointing toward religious books displayed at the stall, Tej Pratap asked,
“Do you read these? The Bhagavad Gita, the Ramayana?”
When the girl said she had read “a little” of the Gita, he advised her:
“Read the Bhagavad Gita properly — read it in Sanskrit and understand its meaning in Hindi.”

Tej Pratap spent considerable time flipping through pages of spiritual literature. As news of his presence spread, a large number of visitors gathered around him, creating a buzz at the fair. Many queued up to take photographs with him.
