Delhi Police Act Swiftly; Five Arrested
Under the leadership of SHO Shailendra Singh Jakhar, the police formed a special team to trace the fleeing suspects. Forensic evidence was collected, CCTV footage from the surrounding area was reviewed, and technical tracking of the suspects’ mobile phones led to overnight raids across Delhi.
During the operation, five individuals were arrested, including a minor. The arrested have been identified as Ajay alias Bindi, Sunny alias Bhatura, Suraj, and Raju, residents of Bhagat Singh Park, Sirsapur, along with the juvenile. A knife allegedly used in the murder was also recovered by the police.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the attack was motivated by a display of “showing off” or bravado among the attackers.
