Vadodara, January 16, 2026: In a shocking incident that left onlookers stunned, a 16-year-old girl climbed onto the bonnet of a Gujarat Police vehicle in Vadodara and created a public disturbance. The episode unfolded near Mahadev Temple on the road connecting Bhrhaspati Chowk to Manjalpur Tulsi Dham in the Makarpura GIDC area.
According to police sources, the girl stopped the DIAL 112 patrol vehicle and began protesting atop it, allegedly under the influence of intoxicating substances. Preliminary reports suggest that the disturbance may have been triggered by a personal dispute with her boyfriend. Eyewitnesses compared the unusual public display to similar incidents that occasionally occur in Delhi and Gurugram, noting that such behavior is extremely rare in Gujarat.
Gujarat, being a state with strict alcohol prohibition, seldom witnesses such public acts of mischief. Police confirmed that the girl’s parents have been informed, and a female officer is counseling her. Investigations are underway to ascertain the nature of any intoxicants involved, whether alcohol or drugs. Authorities are also examining the reasons behind her public outburst.
