Sunny Tried to Force Sonali Into Flesh Trade, Killed Her When She Resisted; Body Dumped on Yamuna Expressway

Agra: A shocking revelation has emerged in the sensational murder case of Sonali, whose body was found wrapped in a blanket on the Yamuna Expressway in Agra. Police investigations have confirmed that Sonali was allegedly murdered by her lover Sunny, along with two accomplices, after she strongly opposed being pushed into an illegal flesh trade racket.

According to the police, Sunny was involved in a sex racket and wanted Sonali to become a part of it. When she refused and began resisting his activities, tensions escalated between the two. Fearing that she might expose him, Sunny allegedly decided to eliminate her.

Body Found Near Milestone 148

Sonali’s body was discovered on February 6 near Milestone 148 on the Yamuna Expressway. The victim’s hands and feet had mehendi marks, indicating that she had recently attended or prepared for a function. Police also found initials written on her hand, including “Sunny” and “SR.”

In an attempt to conceal her identity, the accused allegedly disfigured her face.

Identity Traced Through AI and IP Address

Police used Artificial Intelligence tools to establish the victim’s identity. Later, the investigation led authorities to Delhi through IP address tracking, following which Sunny was arrested from Jahangirpuri.

Officials said Sunny misled investigators for two days by narrating a false story of suicide. However, after the post-mortem report confirmed death due to strangulation, he reportedly confessed to the crime.

Married Four Years Ago, Later Moved to Delhi With Sunny

Sonali’s sister, Bharti, told police that Sonali was married about four years ago in Mahoba. During that time, she came in contact with Sunny, who was living in a rented house and working as a cleaner. Their relationship grew, and Sunny later brought Sonali to Delhi, where they began living together.

Dispute Over Illegal Activities Led to Murder

Bharti further stated that Sunny was involved in illegal activities, which Sonali repeatedly opposed. Police confirmed that Sunny was linked to a sex racket and was pressuring Sonali to join the business. When she refused, the dispute turned violent, leading to her murder.

Thar Vehicle Rented to Dispose of the Body

To dispose of the body, Sunny allegedly rented a Thar SUV and drove to Agra. His plan was to dump Sonali’s body into a river. However, after failing to locate a river near the expressway, he stopped near the Khandoli toll area, took a turn before the toll plaza, and dumped the body wrapped in a blanket before fleeing the scene.

Investigation Continues

Police are continuing the investigation and searching for Sunny’s two accomplices. Authorities stated that strict action will be taken against all those involved in the crime.

The case has sparked outrage, highlighting the growing concerns over crimes linked to human trafficking and exploitation.
