Sunetra Pawar Visits Satara to Console Grieving Family; Vijay Wadettiwar Questions Ajit Pawar Plane Crash

Satara/Pune/Mumbai: While investigations continue into the plane crash that claimed the life of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, political debates around the incident are intensifying. Following questions raised by NCP leaders Amol Mitkari and Sanjay Raut, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has now joined the discussion, demanding answers and pointing to widespread public concerns.

On Monday, Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar visited Satara to meet the family of Ajit Pawar’s personal security officer (PSO), Vidip Jadhav, who also died in the crash. Overcome with grief herself, Sunetra Pawar held Jadhav’s wife’s hand and offered her condolences, visibly moved by the tragedy. Prior to this, she paid homage at the memorial of Maharashtra’s first Chief Minister, Yashwantrao Chavan.

Speaking to the family, Sunetra Pawar assured them, “I stand with you in every difficulty.” She also inquired about the family’s well-being and their professional lives. Vidip Jadhav had joined the Maharashtra Police in 2009, and his family resides in Tardgaon, Taluka Phaltan. Witnesses say her compassionate gestures, including gently placing her hand on the heads of the children, brought many to tears.

Meanwhile, Vijay Wadettiwar expressed doubts over the official investigation, asserting that 80% of people believe something suspicious occurred. He questioned the last-minute pilot change and criticized the lack of accountability in handling the plane crash, suggesting that NCP leaders should demand a probe from Prime Minister Narendra Modi if necessary. Wadettiwar also referred to social media trolling of political figures, emphasizing that Sunetra Pawar herself bears no blame.

The political discourse in Maharashtra has already intensified following the death of Ajit Pawar, with multiple leaders raising concerns about procedural lapses and potential conspiracies.
