
Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh: A 12th-grade student from Shivcharan Inter College, Bulandshahr, has made waves by developing an AI teacher robot. Seventeen-year-old Aditya named the robot ‘Sophie’, which was created at home for just ₹25,000. Sophie is designed to provide educational support and guidance to students.
Months of Research and Innovation
After months of research and hard work, Aditya developed Sophie to address students’ study-related queries instantly. The robot is modeled in the form of a female teacher and can interact with students in real time, assisting them with lessons and explanations.
Future Plans for Advanced Robotics
Aditya shared that with technical and financial support, he aims to develop an advanced AI robot capable not only of speaking and listening but also of writing, understanding human emotions, and providing guidance tailored to students’ moods in the classroom. His ultimate goal is to create a fully 3D humanoid teacher robot.
School Praises Young Innovator
Teachers at Shivcharan Inter College, including Wasim Ahmed and Zia Ullekh, lauded Aditya’s achievement. They noted that the school has students with various talents, and Aditya’s ingenuity stands out. The teachers emphasized that such a robot could even take the place of an absent teacher, ensuring uninterrupted learning for students.
