Spiritual Leaders Address Rising Social Vices at Premanand Maharaj’s Kunj Ashram

Vrindavan, 18 November 2025: A significant and respectful meeting took place at Premanand Maharaj’s Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan, where Dandi Swami Maharaj visited to discuss pressing social concerns. The meeting highlighted the growing influence of immoral behavior, including boyfriend-girlfriend relationships and live-in arrangements, as well as the rise of addictions.

Mutual Respect and Spiritual Discourse
During the meeting, Premanand Maharaj paid Dandi Swami Maharaj a traditional prostration and instructed his disciples to do the same, symbolizing deep reverence and the high traditions of Sanatan Dharma. Both saints engaged in a profound discussion on how spirituality can guide society away from moral degradation.

Concerns About Modern Vices
Premanand Maharaj expressed concern over the erosion of brahmacharya and the entry of immoral practices into spiritual spaces. He emphasized that once the foundation of moral conduct is compromised, the traditional dharmic structure suffers. He urged citizens to resist blindly following foreign lifestyles and instead uphold the four ashram system integral to India’s spiritual heritage.

Dandi Swami Maharaj on the Challenge of Kali Yuga
Dandi Swami Maharaj praised Premanand Maharaj’s efforts, noting that while saints have limitless capacity to guide people, the challenges of the current era (Kali Yuga) are immense, with corruption and disorder widespread. Premanand Maharaj added that though the divine allows certain liberties according to the age, saints are empowered to mitigate these influences, protect dharma, and lead society toward spiritual awakening.

The meeting reinforced the role of saints as moral guardians in turbulent times and called upon society to reconnect with spiritual values while respecting India’s cultural and religious traditions.
