
Sonbhadra, UP: A tragic incident struck the police force in Sonbhadra as Head Constable Vishal Yadav (48) collapsed due to a heart attack while playing badminton on Sunday. Despite desperate efforts by his colleagues to save him, he succumbed to his condition during treatment at the BHU Trauma Center in Varanasi.
According to reports, the incident occurred at the Babhani police station, where Yadav was posted. During the game, he suddenly complained of chest pain and fainted. Fellow officers rushed him to the Community Health Center in Babhani, where initial treatment was provided. Seeing his critical condition, doctors immediately referred him to the district hospital.
With his health not improving, he was transferred to the BHU Trauma Center in Varanasi, where he passed away late Sunday night. Doctors confirmed that he suffered a severe heart attack.
Originally from Ghazipur and the son of the late Balroop Yadav, Vishal Yadav joined the police force in 1997 as a constable. He had served in various capacities over the years and was currently posted as Head Constable at Babhani police station. His sudden demise sent shockwaves through the police department.
Family in Mourning
The news of his death reached his home in Ghazipur, plunging the family into deep grief. Vishal Yadav is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters. Family members mentioned that he was in good health and regularly engaged in sports and physical activities.
Police Statement
Inspector Kamlesh Pal, in charge of Babhani police station, stated that every possible effort was made to save Yadav, from the local health center to the district hospital and finally BHU. Unfortunately, doctors could not save him. The postmortem is scheduled for Monday, after which the body will be handed over to the family.
