Kasargod, Kerala: The shocking death of 25-year-old social media influencer K. Reshma, popularly known as Chinnu Pappu, has left her fans and followers in disbelief. Known for her cheerful presence in short videos and reels, Reshma was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her rented room near Azad Road in Kasargod.
Reshma had recently posted her last reel on social media with a smile, making her sudden death even more shocking. She had garnered over 200,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared videos in her native Kasargod Malayalam dialect and occasionally in Tulu.
According to police, Reshma’s brother Ratish discovered her body around 1:30 PM. Authorities have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating all possible angles. While preliminary suspicion points towards suicide, the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
Sources revealed that Reshma had undergone a love marriage and was a mother to a four-year-old child. Reports also indicate that she had ended her marital relationship a few months ago. Police are examining her mobile phone and recording statements from her family members as part of the investigation.
The tragic incident has left her fans devastated, struggling to accept that the lively influencer is no longer alive. Following the post-mortem, her body will be handed over to her family.
