
Bidar (Karnataka), Jan 31: Six people, including four children, were injured on Saturday in a suspected blast in Bidar, Karnataka, police said. Two adults are reported to be in serious condition and are receiving treatment at a hospital.
Pradeep Gunti, Superintendent of Police (Bidar), told PTI-Bhasha, “Six people were injured in the explosion, including four children. Their condition is reported to be stable. Two adults sustained serious injuries and are undergoing medical treatment.”
According to police, the incident took place on the road leading to the Molige Marayya Temple in Molkhira village, Humnabad Taluk. The victims were walking on the road when the blast occurred.
The police superintendent added that a crime team along with forensic experts are examining the site to determine the cause. “The nature of the material used in the blast and other details are yet to be confirmed,” he said.
