Shri Shri 1008 Kalidas Maharaj Visits Premanand Maharaj with Rudraksha Adornments and Sacred Gifts

Mathura: A deeply spiritual and heartfelt congregation took place at Shri Radha Keli Kunj Ashram when the revered ascetic Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Baba Kalidas Krishnanand Paramhans Maharaj paid a visit to Saint Premanand Maharaj. The meeting gained attention not only for the spiritual significance but also for Kalidas Maharaj’s appearance, adorned with several kilograms of Rudraksha malas.

Upon arrival, Kalidas Maharaj lay directly on the ground to offer Dandavat pranam to Premanand Maharaj, who reciprocated the gesture warmly and embraced him with affection. Choosing simplicity over grandeur, Kalidas Maharaj sat on the ground rather than a chair and engaged in a long, profound discussion on spiritual matters.

Presentation of Sacred Gifts

Kalidas Maharaj presented Premanand Maharaj with specially prepared sacred offerings, including Shaligram, Kedarnath prasadam, holy water, and garments associated with Maa Kamakhya Devi. These gifts reflected his deep devotion and reverence.

Honoring Premanand Maharaj as ‘Yug Purush’

During the meeting, Kalidas Maharaj addressed Premanand Maharaj as an “Avatara” and “Yug Purush”, expressing his immense reverence:

“I am blessed to receive the darshan of an Avatara and Yug Purush. May your blessings spread across the world, and may your glory reach every corner of the nation and beyond. I have come specifically to seek the vision of this Yug Purush.”

Explaining his choice to sit on the ground, he remarked:

“I sit on the ground because the dust of Premanand Maharaj’s feet is where true reverence resides.”

Humbly responding, Premanand Maharaj compared his life to clay in the hands of a potter:

“Just as clay can become a pot under the hands of a skilled potter, so too can the grace of a saint transform a life. It is the saint’s blessing that shapes us.”
