New Delhi, February 3:
In a horrifying incident in Mayur Vihar, Delhi, a 22-year-old delivery boy, Arun Raj, was fatally stabbed by three minors following a minor argument. Arun, a resident of Patparganj, sustained multiple stab wounds to his neck and chest. He was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital by police but was declared dead on arrival. The Delhi Police, supported by the Crime Branch and FSL teams, have collected evidence from the scene and arrested all three juveniles.
The attackers reportedly arrived on a motorcycle, engaged in an argument, and carried out the attack with sharp weapons before fleeing. All three were apprehended by the police later the same evening.
Separate Case in Paharganj
In another incident in central Delhi’s Paharganj area, a man has been arrested for repeatedly raping his 14-year-old daughter. The girl, an eighth-grade student, approached the police with her landlord to ensure her and her siblings’ safety. She alleged that the abuse began after her mother left for Bihar approximately two weeks ago and that her father sexually assaulted her multiple times between January 31 and February 1. Police confirmed that the girl had reported four to five similar incidents over the past 10–15 days.
Both cases have sparked outrage and underline growing concerns about safety and protection for vulnerable individuals in Delhi.
