Shocking Case in Maharashtra: Groom Refuses Intimacy, Allegedly in Homosexual Relationship, Wife Files FIR

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra: A young woman in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has alleged that her marriage has turned into a nightmare after her husband refused to engage in physical relations and reportedly has a homosexual relationship with a friend. The woman has filed a police complaint against her husband and in-laws, claiming harassment and extortion.

Marriage Turns Troubled
The 32-year-old woman was married on May 20, 2025. Soon after the wedding, her husband allegedly refused to consummate the marriage, citing a false oath. When the victim insisted on consulting a doctor for treatment, she was reportedly beaten. She claims that her in-laws were aware of the husband’s condition before the marriage but deliberately concealed it, deceiving her into the union.

Extortion and Harassment by In-Laws
According to the complaint, the in-laws demanded ₹15 lakh from the victim to purchase a flat in Khutwadnagar, Nasik, claiming that her husband would not engage in sexual relations until the money was paid. During this period, the in-laws allegedly confiscated her gold jewelry and educational documents.

Alleged Homosexual Relationship
The victim further accused her husband of maintaining a homosexual relationship with a friend. On September 6, 2025, she was reportedly subjected to severe physical assault. Distressed by ongoing mental and physical harassment, she approached the Cantonment Police.

FIR and Investigation
Based on her complaint, the police registered cases under multiple sections against her husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, husband’s younger brother, sister-in-law, and six others—a total of 10 people. The alleged harassment and deception took place between May 20, 2025, and January 21, 2026. The police are continuing their investigation.
