Mumbai: In the aftermath of Bihar Assembly elections, Anand Dubey, National Spokesperson of Shiv Sena UBT, grabbed the spotlight for his sharp satire targeting Congress and Rahul Gandhi across news channels. Following the Mahagathbandhan’s defeat in Bihar, Dubey appeared on multiple news channels, lampooning Congress leaders and the alliance. Who is Anand Dubey?

Anand Dubey hails from Banaras, Uttar Pradesh. His family moved to Mumbai’s Kandivali area when he was four. After completing his graduation from Mumbai University, he began his political journey with Congress in 2003. He became a prominent face for Bihar and Purvanchal in Mumbai politics. In 2019, Dubey joined Shiv Sena under Aditya Thackeray and stayed with the Thackeray faction after the party split. Apart from politics, he is a consultant in his family business, while his elder brother runs a chartered accountancy and law firm.
