Shahjahanpur Husband Murder: Wife Allegedly Kills Husband with Nephew’s Help

Shahjahanpur, UP: In a shocking incident from Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a husband was brutally murdered, allegedly by his wife in collusion with her nephew. The case, which also involves a long-standing extramarital affair, has left the local community stunned.

The victim, 30-year-old Balram, lived with his wife and four children in Bhatpura Chandu. On Thursday morning, Balram’s brother visited the house to check on him before work. Balram’s wife came out in tears. When his brother entered the home, he found Balram lying on a charpai (cot) with his throat slashed. The brother immediately accused the wife of orchestrating the murder.

History of Elopements and Affair
According to family members, Balram’s wife had been involved in a relationship with her husband’s nephew for nearly two years. During this period, she had run away from home three times. About eight months ago, the police facilitated a reconciliation, but she reportedly left again three months prior to the murder.

The accused wife, Pooja, allegedly conspired with her nephew to carry out the brutal killing. Reports indicate that Balram suffered two deep stab wounds to his neck. His younger brother, who is differently-abled, confirmed the ongoing affair and the repeated elopements.

Family sources also revealed that Balram and his wife frequently argued over her unwillingness to live with him. The remote location of their home may have facilitated the execution of the crime. Police are actively searching for the accused to bring them to justice.
