In a shocking case that highlights the dangerous consequences of marital suspicion, a government school headmistress from Gujarat allegedly plotted the murder of a nurse in Jhunjhunu over suspicions regarding her husband’s alleged affair. The Rajasthan Police have arrested the main conspirator from Gujarat and are investigating the case further.
Firing Incident Leads to Revelation
Superintendent of Police Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay stated that the case came to light during the investigation of a recent firing and extortion incident at a liquor shop in Likhwa village, Pilani. Six local criminals were arrested, and during questioning, they revealed a separate conspiracy: a contract killing arranged from Gujarat, targeting a woman.
Target Mistaken for a Doctor
Investigations revealed that the contract, worth ₹15 lakh, was initially planned to target a doctor. However, due to misinformation, the actual target was a female nurse working on a contract basis at a government hospital. The police have launched a detailed inquiry into the plot’s scope and execution.
Headmistress Behind the Plot
The main accused, 39-year-old Kajal from Unjha, Gujarat, who serves as a government school headmistress, allegedly became suspicious of her husband Hardik’s relationship with the nurse. Over the past six months, she reportedly planned the nurse’s murder, hiring criminals for the act.
Advance Payment and Arms Purchase
Authorities said Kajal paid ₹1 lakh in advance to the hired criminals, which was used to purchase weapons and ammunition. These arms were reportedly used during the earlier firing incident at the liquor shop. The payment reached a local youth in Pilani, who then recruited other accomplices to execute the plan.
Arrest and Ongoing Investigation
After tracing the conspiracy across states, Jhunjhunu police arrested Kajal in Gujarat. It was reported that Kajal and Hardik are in a love marriage and have one son. Police continue to hunt for other individuals involved in the plot.
This case underscores the extreme lengths personal suspicions can drive individuals to, and authorities are treating the matter with utmost seriousness to prevent such criminal acts in the future.
