Sambhal Violence Mastermind Sharik Satha’s Property Under Attachment; Running Network from Dubai

Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh: Sharik Satha, the alleged mastermind behind the Sambhal violence on 24 November 2024, is once again in the spotlight as police continue their hunt for him. Currently hiding in Dubai, Satha is reportedly running his criminal network from abroad. Meanwhile, authorities have initiated the attachment of his properties following a court order.

Criminal Profile and Properties
Satha is considered one of India’s largest auto lifters. The police have already seized ₹2.31 crore worth of his property last year. Over the years, he and his gang have been booked under the Gangster Act and other laws. A 2009 investigation revealed that the gang purchased a 268-square-meter high-value plot in Turtipur Ilaha. This property was registered in the names of Satha’s wife, Gule Roshan, and Sikandar’s wife, Saja Parveen, and was confiscated by the police in 2011.

Criminal Cases
Sharik Satha faces 69 criminal cases, including charges of murder, arms violations, theft, and fraud. During the Sambhal violence, police allege that he supplied weapons and played a key role in inciting the mob.

Non-Compliance Despite Notices
Despite receiving multiple notices, Satha has not surrendered. Following the Sambhal violence, three members of his gang have been arrested and sent to jail. Recently, the court had issued a warning for property attachment, which is now being executed.

Authorities continue to pursue Satha and aim to bring him to justice while dismantling his network operating from abroad.
