Rohtas Village Turns Battlefield Over a Samosa: 6 Injured, 16 Arrested in Shootout

Rohtas, Bihar: A minor dispute over a samosa at a breakfast shop in Amaisdihra village, Kochas police station area, escalated into a violent clash and gunfire late Sunday night, leaving six people injured. Police have taken swift action, arresting 16 individuals in connection with the incident.

Village Erupts Over a Samosa
According to reports, a young man named Satendra Yadav visited the village breakfast shop to request a samosa on credit. When the shopkeeper refused, an argument ensued, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. Onlookers intervened to calm the situation, and Satendra Yadav initially left the scene.

Gunfire Spreads Panic
However, Satendra returned shortly after with family members and associates. Allegedly, in an attempt to intimidate, he and his group opened indiscriminate fire at the shop. Multiple rounds of bullets created an atmosphere of fear across the village, forcing residents to seek shelter in their homes.

Six People Injured
The violent clash resulted in six individuals being seriously injured, with some reportedly sustaining bullet fragments. All injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving treatment. Doctors have stated that the condition of all patients is currently stable.

Police Investigation Underway
Following the incident, Kochas police quickly arrived at the scene and restored order. Additional police personnel have been deployed to maintain peace in the village. Kochas Station Officer Nitish Kumar stated that, based on complaints from both sides, 16 people have been taken into custody so far. A thorough investigation is ongoing, and strict legal action will be taken against the perpetrators.
