Rohit Godara Gang Issues Fresh Death Threat to BJP Leader in Rajasthan; Markets Shut in Protest

Didwana-Kuchaman (Rajasthan): In a shocking incident that highlights the growing audacity of gangsters in Rajasthan, BJP leader Vijay Singh Palada has reportedly received fresh death threats from the notorious Rohit Godara gang, despite being under police protection.

The threats, sent through WhatsApp audio messages from foreign phone numbers, have created panic across the region and triggered widespread outrage among traders and local residents. In protest against the deteriorating law and order situation, markets in Didwana-Kuchaman have been declared shut on Tuesday.

Audio Threat: “Your Condition Will Be Like Ramesh Rulania”

According to reports, around 3 PM on Monday, Vijay Singh Palada began receiving a series of WhatsApp audio messages from international numbers. The messages were allegedly sent by gangsters Virendra Charan and Rahul Fatehpur, both linked to the Rohit Godara network.

In one of the audios, Virendra Charan is heard issuing a direct warning, stating that Palada’s fate would be similar to that of Ramesh Rulania, a name associated with a past murder case reportedly linked to the gang.

The gangster allegedly said that Palada could hide anywhere, but he would ultimately be tracked down and killed.

Second Audio Escalates Threat

Later in the evening, two more audio messages were allegedly sent in the name of Rahul Fatehpur. The tone of the messages was aggressive and chilling. The gangster reportedly claimed that Palada was showing “signs of dying” by not responding to the messages and warned him to prepare for death.

In another threatening statement, the sender reportedly said that even Palada’s family members could be targeted if encountered.

Public Anger Sparks Market Shutdown

Following the threats, anger erupted among local traders and residents. They announced a market shutdown as a mark of protest and solidarity with the BJP leader. Locals questioned the effectiveness of police security, stating that if a politician under protection is unsafe, the situation for common citizens is far more alarming.

Police on High Alert, Cyber Team Tracking Numbers

Taking the matter seriously, Didwana-Kuchaman Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar confirmed that Vijay Singh Palada has already been provided with two armed security guards, deployed round the clock.

She added that the threatening messages originated from foreign numbers, and a cyber team along with a special unit from police headquarters has been assigned to trace the source. Police patrolling has also been intensified around Palada’s residence and nearby areas.

Who is Rohit Godara?

The Rohit Godara gang is known for its involvement in extortion, targeted killings, and organized crime in Rajasthan. By referring to the Ramesh Rulania case, the gang reportedly aimed to send a strong message of fear and intimidation.

The incident has once again raised serious concerns about the rising influence of criminal gangs and the growing challenge for law enforcement agencies in maintaining public safety.
