RJD Leader Mukesh Raushan Takes a Swing at Tej Pratap Yadav Over Anushka Yadav Controversy

Patna, Bihar: The question of who fathered Anushka Yadav’s daughter has reignited political drama in Bihar. Tej Pratap Yadav, eldest son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and President of Jan Shakti Janata Dal, has denied being the father, blaming five “traitors” for a conspiracy. One of those five, however, has turned against him. Former Mahua MLA Dr. Mukesh Raushan has openly attacked Tej Pratap in the media.

Mukesh Raushan Speaks Out
In a recent TV interview, Raushan strongly criticized Tej Pratap, saying, “Tej Pratap himself used to post pictures with Anushka Yadav on social media. He even visited her house—videos of which everyone has seen. And now he claims he doesn’t know her? Stop the drama.”

When labeled as a “traitor” himself, Raushan fired back, stating, “It’s easy to point fingers at others, but one should first look at their own conduct. Those calling me a traitor are themselves guilty of the same behavior. During the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, I faced harsh criticism for my loyalty. I support Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, but Tej Pratap’s actions have harmed his father’s party.”

Refuting the ‘Uncle-Niece’ Claim
Raushan also refuted Tej Pratap’s alleged claim that he and Anushka share an “uncle-niece” relationship, emphasizing that anyone viewing their photos and videos can judge the truth. “People are no longer buying Tej Pratap’s theatrics,” he asserted.

Political Mockery and Allegations
Raushan mocked Tej Pratap’s recent statements about meeting Prime Minister Modi, joking, “If he could, he would even schedule a meeting with Donald Trump.” He further accused Tej Pratap of disrespecting senior leaders like Jagdanand Singh and the late Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, questioning what else could be expected from him.

This controversy is expected to keep Bihar’s political corridors buzzing, as intra-party criticism clashes with Tej Pratap’s personal defense.
