Renowned Sadhvi Prem Baisa Passes Away in Jodhpur; Instagram Post Viewed as Final Message

Jodhpur: Spiritual leader Sadhvi Prem Baisa of Rajasthan passed away on Tuesday. She was transported from her Aarti Nagar ashram to Preksha Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. The news of her demise was communicated to Shastri Nagar police by phone, sending waves of grief through the spiritual community and her devotees.

Final Instagram Post Seen as Suicide Note

Shortly before her death, Sadhvi Prem Baisa shared a post on Instagram, which is being interpreted as a suicide note. In the post, she stated that she had spent every moment of her life dedicated to the propagation of Sanatan Dharma. She paid homage to all saints and emphasized that “there is no greater religion than Sanatan Dharma,” and that Sanatan Dharma remained in her heart until her last breath.

The post also mentioned blessings from Adi Jagatguru Shankaracharya, global yoga gurus, and other revered spiritual leaders. Sadhvi Prem Baisa wrote that she had sent written requests to Adi Guru Shankaracharya and other eminent saints for a trial by fire (Agni Pareeksha), but destiny had different plans. Expressing complete faith in God and spiritual masters, she added that justice would prevail, whether in life or after death.

Previous Year’s Viral Video Controversy

Sadhvi Prem Baisa had also been in the news last year following the viral circulation of an old video showing her embracing a man, which was misinterpreted on social media. She clarified that the video was taken about three years ago when she met her father after a long time. She described the clip as a father-daughter interaction and labeled its distortion by some antisocial elements as a conspiracy aimed at defaming the spiritual community.

Allegations of Blackmail

The Sadhvi alleged that before the video went viral, she was demanded ₹20 lakh as part of a blackmail attempt. When she refused, the accused circulated the video among her contacts and ashram followers. She filed a formal complaint with the Boranada police station, highlighting the conspiracy.

Devotees Gather at Ashram

Following her death, supporters and disciples began gathering at her ashram to pay their respects, mourning the loss of a prominent spiritual figure in Rajasthan.
