Realise Your Dream Home in Lucknow: LDA to Develop Group Housing in Gomti Nagar Extension; Registration Opens Soon

Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to offer prime residential and commercial land parcels through e-auction, providing a major opportunity for homebuyers and developers to invest in some of the city’s most sought-after locations. The authority will develop group housing projects in Gomti Nagar Extension, along with commercial complexes and a hospital site near 1090 Chauraha.

The e-auction portal will open for registrations on 15 December, and interested bidders can apply through the official LDA website. The proposed developments promise excellent road connectivity and extensive green spaces, making them attractive for both residential and commercial use.

Group Housing in Gomti Nagar Extension
LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar said that in Sector-7 of Gomti Nagar Extension, behind the Police Headquarters, group housing has been planned over 43.051 acres of land. The approved layout includes 11 group housing plots and one commercial plot, with 15% of the total area reserved for green spaces. All these plots will be part of the upcoming e-auction.

The group housing plots range from 5,295 sq metres to 11,934 sq metres, with a reserved price of ₹80,633 per sq metre. The commercial plot, measuring 7,180 sq metres, has a reserved rate of ₹82,864 per sq metre.

Prime Commercial and Hospital Plots
Near 1090 Chauraha in Gomti Nagar, LDA will auction five commercial plots and one hospital plot. These plots range from 51 sq metres to 11,175 sq metres, with reserved rates between ₹1,18,855 and ₹1,28,230 per sq metre. The hospital plot, spread over 1,615 sq metres, has been priced at ₹97,413 per sq metre.

Additionally, two group housing plots located on Butler Palace Road, Dalibagh, measuring 2,026 sq metres and 2,097 sq metres, will also be included in the e-auction, each with a reserved rate of ₹88,334 per sq metre, the Vice-Chairman confirmed.

Action Against Illegal Plotting
Meanwhile, LDA continued its crackdown on illegal developments across the city. On Friday, enforcement teams demolished 11 illegal plotting sites spanning over 100 bighas in Kakori, Mal, and Dubagga. In Gosainganj, two unauthorized constructions were sealed for proceeding without approved building plans.

Zonal Officer (Enforcement Zone-3) Devansh Trivedi said that six illegal plotting projects covering 53 bighas were demolished, while five illegal plotting sites over 50 bighas were razed in Dubagga.
