Vrindavan, Mathura: A rare and spiritually enriching moment unfolded in the sacred land of Braj, Vrindavan, as Mahant Vipin Bihari Das Ji Maharaj of Jateri Dham met the renowned saint, Pujya Premanand Maharaj. The meeting was not merely formal; it became an immersive satsang filled with devotional discourse and rasik exchange that lasted for hours.

Mahant Vipin Bihari Das Ji Maharaj visited Vrindavan to seek the blessings of Premanand Maharaj and to extend an invitation for the grand religious ceremonies scheduled at Jateri Dham. The saints engaged in deep discussions on the Braj bhakti tradition, the nuances of nikunj ras, and the sacred secretive lilas of the region.

Grand Bhagavat Katha at Jateri Dham
Mahant Vipin Bihari Das Ji Maharaj shared that from February 7 to February 14, the celebrated katha vachak, Indresh Upadhyay Ji, will recite the Shrimad Bhagavat Katha at Jateri Dham. Premanand Maharaj has been cordially invited to grace this auspicious event.

Enchanting Devotional Rendition Leaves Premanand Maharaj Spellbound
At the special request of Premanand Maharaj, Mahant Vipin Bihari Das Ji Maharaj performed melodious rasik compositions celebrating Basant and Holi. Through the rendition of Swami Bihar Dev Ji Maharaj’s “Aaj Basant Bano Sakhi Van Mein”, the mystical grandeur of Nidhi Van was vividly brought to life. His performance of “Holi Khelan Shyam Bulavat” immersed the audience in the divine colors of Radha-Krishna’s Holi, leaving Premanand Maharaj visibly moved and enthralled.

About Mahant Vipin Bihari Das Ji Maharaj
Originally from Sagar (Deori), Madhya Pradesh, Mahant Vipin Bihari Das Ji Maharaj has been devotedly following the path of bhakti for over two decades. He is not only a saint but also a scholar of classical music, an accomplished veena player, and an expert in Braj rasik singing. His performances are so imbued with the essence of Braj bhakti that even Premanand Maharaj praised them as extraordinary and heartfelt.

The Rare Nikunj Ras
During the satsang, discussions also covered the secretive nikunj spaces, gopi bhav, and Radha’s hidden nikunj vati in Vrindavan. Premanand Maharaj noted that such divine ras is extremely rare—an experience typically accessible only through the grace of truly rasik acharyas—and even sages like Narad and Shukdev would have found it exceptional.

This meeting of saints underscored the profound depth of Braj bhakti, the beauty of devotional music, and the spiritual richness of Vrindavan’s sacred traditions.
