Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Amrit Udyan to Open for Public from February 3 to March 31

New Delhi: Rashtrapati Bhavan’s famed Amrit Udyan will be open to the public from February 3 to March 31, 2026. Visitors can explore the garden from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, except on Tuesdays, when the garden will remain closed for maintenance and cleaning.

An official statement from the Rashtrapati Bhavan clarified that the garden will also be closed on March 4 in observance of Holi. Entry and booking for Amrit Udyan are free of charge, and visitors can register through the Rashtrapati Bhavan website. Entry and exit will be through Gate No. 35 of the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex.

To facilitate visitor access, a shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The buses will display banners reading “Shuttle Service to Amrit Udyan” for easy identification.

The garden offers a spectacular display of flowers from across India and around the world. Visitors can enjoy 12 unique varieties of tulips, along with over 150 types of roses, lilies, daffodils, and other exotic plants, making it a visual treat for nature enthusiasts and garden lovers alike.
