Rajasthan’s Biggest Fraud: ₹3,100 Crore XPO Scam Linked to Jhunjhunu, Masterminds to Be Nabbed

Bharatpur/Jhunjhunu: Rajasthan is reeling from its largest alleged investment scam worth ₹3,100 crore, and the investigation has now revealed links to Jhunjhunu. Following police action in Bharatpur, the Jhunjhunu Police have identified several local promoters, including Vijay Maurya from Bakhtawarpura, who allegedly played a key role in luring investors. SP Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay confirmed that Maurya was instrumental in channeling investments to the fraudulent XPO.RU company.

Massive Scam Sends Shockwaves Across State
The XPO.RU case, exposed by Bharatpur Police, reportedly defrauded investors of ₹3,100 crore, surpassing previous high-profile scams like Nexa Evergreen. The scale of the fraud has shaken investors across Rajasthan, making it the largest financial scandal in the state’s history.

Key Promoters in Jhunjhunu on Police Radar
The Jhunjhunu Police, in close coordination with their Bharatpur counterparts, have identified several local individuals involved in the scam. Preliminary investigations highlight Vijay Maurya as a central figure. In addition, former Sarpanch Surendra Barwad of Sujadola village and Surendra Saini, who publicly presented themselves as XPO promoters on social media, are also under scrutiny.

Police Action Imminent
SP Upadhyay stated that Jhunjhunu Police are actively working with Bharatpur Police to apprehend all accused individuals and hand them over for further investigation. Social media has erupted with investor complaints against the company’s promoters, including Rajat Sharma, over unpaid returns. Authorities believe that as the investigation deepens, even bigger names may surface in the ₹3,100 crore fraud network, revealing the full scale of this inter-state scam.
