Rajasthan to Get Its First Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Soon; Expected to Start by March

Jaipur: Rajasthan is set to receive its first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train by March this year. The train is expected to operate on the Delhi–Ahmedabad route, passing through Jaipur, Ajmer, and Abu Road.

The country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will soon begin operations between Howrah in West Bengal and Guwahati in Assam. Following this, Rajasthan is also likely to witness the introduction of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train by March. The proposed route will connect key cities such as Jaipur, Ajmer, and Abu Road, offering passengers a faster and more convenient alternative to existing trains like the Ashram Express. It will also provide a viable option for travelers heading to Delhi during midnight hours. The North Western Railway administration has submitted a proposal for the train’s operation.

Rail Minister Confirms Announcement
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently announced that India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will operate between Guwahati and Howrah. Following this announcement, it is now expected that Rajasthan could also see the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train running on its routes by March.
