Rajasthan Politician’s Family Hosts Lavish Wedding; 5 Helipads Set Up for VIP Guests, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh to Attend

Pali, Rajasthan: Preparations are in full swing for a grand wedding in the family of a prominent Rajasthan politician. The wedding of Komal Mathur, granddaughter of Sikkim Governor Om Mathur, is scheduled for 22 November at Lal Bagh Hotel, Ranakpur Road, and will be celebrated over two days, 21–22 November.

VIP Guests and Security Arrangements

To accommodate VIP attendees, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, five helipads have been constructed near Lal Bagh and Manav Hotels. These helipads will facilitate the landing of helicopters carrying central ministers and other senior political figures. Extensive security measures have been put in place by the district administration, with Collector L.N. Mantri and SP Adarsh Sidhu personally overseeing the arrangements.

Extravagant Preparations Across Ranakpur

The Lal Bagh area and surrounding Ranakpur region are witnessing large-scale decorations and event preparations. The administration has devised special traffic and security plans to ensure smooth movement of high-profile guests and prevent any inconvenience.

About Om Mathur

Om Prakash Mathur, currently Governor of Sikkim, is widely respected for his organizational skills and leadership. Born on 17 August 1952 in Falna, Pali district, he completed his early education locally before pursuing a BA from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. At 20, he joined the RSS as a pracharak, later becoming a key figure in the BJP, serving as national vice president, national secretary, and twice as a Rajya Sabha member. He also served as Rajasthan BJP President (2008–2009) and was entrusted with party responsibilities in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

In 2023, recognizing his vast experience and organizational acumen, he was appointed the 18th Governor of Sikkim.
