Suspensions in Jaipur Over Betting Money Fraud
In Jaipur, three constables—Ramesh, Gyarasilal, and Dinesh Singh of Jaysinghpura Khor Police Station—were suspended immediately following allegations of financial manipulation during a betting operation conducted four days ago. The amount in question is ₹3 lakh, reportedly misappropriated by the officers. DCP (North) Karan Sharma confirmed the suspension, and ACP (Amer) Surendra Singh Ranawat has been tasked with the investigation.
This move comes amid rising scrutiny over police accountability, as Rajasthan witnesses reshuffles and disciplinary actions to reinforce transparency and integrity within the force.
