
Jaipur/Bahrain: Rajasthan Legislative Assembly member Sachin Pilot received a warm welcome from India’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Vinod K. Jacob, at India House on Sunday. During the meeting, the leaders discussed bilateral relations between India and Bahrain and explored avenues for further cooperation.
The Indian Embassy shared on social media: “Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob warmly received Honorable Rajasthan MLA Sachin Pilot. The discussion emphasized India-Bahrain relations and the positive contribution of the Indian diaspora.”
Symbolic Meeting
During his visit, Pilot was seen writing his thoughts in the embassy’s guest diary. Notably, the table in front of him displayed photos of President Droupadi Murmu on one side and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the other, symbolizing the importance of his meeting.
Strengthening India-Bahrain Ties
Pilot described the discussions as meaningful and productive, highlighting the long-standing bilateral relationship between India and Bahrain, strengthened through cultural ties, economic cooperation, and the contributions of the Indian community.
Reception by Bahraini Rajasthani Community
The Rajasthani community in Bahrain also extended a warm reception to Pilot. He expressed gratitude on his social media platforms: “Thank you to the Rajasthani community in Bahrain for the honor. Their strong identity rooted in tradition is a matter of pride for all of us.”
Focus on Social Initiatives and Youth Empowerment
Earlier, Pilot discussed expanding access to Jaipur Foot, the prosthetic initiative, with Dr. D.R. Mehta, noting its transformative impact on countless differently-abled individuals.
Pilot also participated in the annual ‘Future Ready’ program organized by the Bahrain chapter of ICAI, where he emphasized India’s commitment to global development and economic partnership, urging the youth to be prepared for future challenges.
