Jaipur: The Jaipur Bench of Rajasthan High Court was evacuated following a bomb threat, prompting security agencies to go on high alert. Intensive searches are underway by bomb disposal squads and dog squads to ensure the safety of the court premises.
Immediately after the threat was received, the entire High Court complex was cleared. Senior officials from ATS, local police, and other security agencies arrived on the scene. Lawyers vacated their chambers, and strict security checks are being conducted for everyone entering or leaving the premises.
All Friday hearings suspended
The High Court administration took the matter very seriously and suspended all hearings scheduled for Friday. Police have been instructed to maintain heightened security, and cooperation from all court staff and visitors has been requested. As of the latest updates, no suspicious objects have been found.
Repeat threat recalls October 31 incident
This is not the first time the Jaipur Bench has received such a threat. On 31 October, a bomb threat had forced the court to halt all hearings as a precautionary measure. Additionally, on Thursday, both the Ajmer Dargah and Ajmer Collectorate received bomb threats; however, no suspicious items were discovered during the searches.
Authorities continue to investigate the source of these threats while ensuring maximum security at the court and other vulnerable locations across Rajasthan.
