Jaipur: The Jaipur Bench of the Rajasthan High Court was evacuated once again following a bomb threat, prompting security agencies to go on high alert. Bomb disposal squads, dog units, and senior ATS officials are conducting a thorough search of the premises.
Evacuation and Security Measures
Following the threat, the entire High Court complex was cleared. Lawyers were asked to leave, and their chambers were vacated. The court administration has taken the matter seriously and instructed police officers to ensure maximum security. Every person entering the premises is being thoroughly screened, and the authorities have requested full cooperation from the public.
Hearings Suspended
All hearings scheduled for Friday have been postponed. As of now, no suspicious objects have been found. The High Court continues to monitor the situation closely in coordination with security agencies.
Repeated Threats
This is not the first time the Jaipur Bench has received such threats. On 31 October, a similar bomb threat was reported, leading to the suspension of all court proceedings. Additionally, on Thursday, the Ajmer Dargah and Ajmer Collectorate also received bomb threats; however, no suspicious items were discovered during the security checks.
This incident highlights the continued security challenges faced by high-profile public institutions and the importance of vigilance and coordinated response by law enforcement agencies.
