Sikar: A shocking incident from Rajasthan’s Sikar district has brought embarrassment to the education department after serious allegations were raised against a government school headmaster. Following a complaint filed by a Class 7 student of a government girls’ school, the Rajasthan Education Department has suspended the accused headmaster with immediate effect.
The matter came to light when the minor student submitted a written complaint accusing the headmaster of behaving inappropriately during school hours. According to the complaint, the alleged incident took place inside the school during a regular class period, leaving the student frightened and mentally disturbed.
Incident Reported During School Period
As per the student’s statement, the incident occurred on February 4, during the sixth period. The girl alleged that the headmaster touched her inappropriately, held her head and cheeks, and behaved in an indecent manner.
The student reportedly became extremely scared after the incident and did not attend school the following day. Later, she informed the school administration and formally registered her complaint.
School Authorities Informed Education Officials
After receiving the complaint, the school principal immediately informed the Cluster Block Education Officer (CBEO). In response, the education department formed a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the allegations.
The committee began its probe by collecting statements from the complainant and other students.
Other Students Also Raised Similar Allegations
During the investigation, several other students reportedly shared their experiences and accused the headmaster of making inappropriate gestures and behaving indecently within the school premises. These statements were documented and included in the committee’s report.
Department Takes Immediate Action
After reviewing the inquiry report, the Rajasthan Education Department treated the matter as extremely serious and ordered the headmaster’s suspension. Officials stated that further disciplinary action will be decided once the investigation is completed.
Zero Tolerance Policy on Student Safety
The education department reiterated that the safety, dignity, and respect of schoolgirls remain the highest priority. It emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy will be followed in such cases, and strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty.
Parents and students have also been urged to report any form of inappropriate behavior immediately to school authorities or concerned officials.
