Rajasthan Government to Provide ₹2,000 Per Month to Youth Under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme

Jaipur, Rajasthan: In a major step to support students, the Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan has announced financial assistance for minority students under the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme. Eligible students studying in government colleges across Jaipur will receive ₹2,000 per month for up to 10 months to cover expenses such as rent, food, and other essential facilities.

Scheme Benefits and Eligibility

The scheme is implemented by the State Minority Affairs Department and is specifically designed for students belonging to minority communities including Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Christians, Buddhists, and Parsis. The grant is intended to help students living in rented accommodations or paying guest facilities.

Application Deadline Approaching

Students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the 2025–26 academic session must apply online by 31 December 2025 to avail the benefit. Applications can be submitted through the SSO portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) or via http://sims.rajasthan.gov.in.

Maximum Benefit Period

Each eligible student can receive the monthly assistance for a maximum of 10 months per academic session, providing significant relief for living and educational expenses.

This initiative is part of the Rajasthan government’s broader efforts to support youth from all communities through multiple schemes, including the Kalibai Scooty Scheme, Devnarayan Scooty Scheme, and the Chief Minister Scholarship Program.
