Rajasthan Government Announces Major Welfare Push on Second Anniversary of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha

Jaipur/Sirohi, January 22:
Marking the second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the Rajasthan government on Thursday announced a series of major welfare initiatives for farmers, women, labourers and rural households across the state.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is scheduled to participate in a state-level programme in Sirohi, where financial assistance will be transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under multiple flagship schemes.

Fifth Instalment of Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi

As part of the programme, eligible farmers will receive the fifth instalment of the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. The government said the initiative aims to provide income stability to farmers and strengthen agricultural activities by supporting crop production and farm-related investments.

Launch of ‘GRAM’ Utthan Camps

On the same occasion, the Chief Minister will formally inaugurate ‘GRAM’ Utthan Camps under the Global Rajasthan AgriTech Meet (GRAME) initiative. These camps will be organised in villages across the state till February 9, focusing on modern agricultural practices, awareness of government schemes and the adoption of agricultural innovations.

Gas Subsidy, Dairy Support and Labour Welfare

Under social security and livelihood schemes, beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Gas Subsidy Scheme and the Chief Minister Dairy Producer Sambal Scheme will receive financial assistance via DBT. In addition, construction workers and farmers will also be provided agricultural input subsidies and labour welfare assistance, directly credited to their accounts.

PM Awas Yojana Beneficiaries to Receive Cheques

The state government will also distribute cheques to selected beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, enabling economically weaker families to move closer to owning permanent homes.

Symbolic and Developmental Significance

The Rajasthan government described the initiatives as a blend of cultural significance and inclusive development, aligning welfare delivery with an occasion of deep religious importance for millions of devotees.

Officials said the programme reflects the government’s commitment to empowering farmers, supporting women and labourers, and strengthening rural infrastructure, while ensuring transparency and efficiency through direct benefit transfers.
