
Jaipur, Rajasthan: The Rajasthan Budget 2026-27 is set to be presented in the State Assembly today at 11 AM by Deputy Chief Minister (Finance) Diya Kumari. The final draft was completed on Tuesday after six months of meticulous preparation, with a team of five key officers from the Finance Department playing a pivotal role.
The team worked extensively on proposals from various departments, revenue projections, and expenditure demands before finalizing the budget. For three of the five officers, this was their first experience participating in the state budget process.

Assembly Proceedings for Budget 2026
Following the budget presentation at 11 AM, a meeting of the Advisory Committee will discuss the House proceedings. Budget debates will continue for three days, with responses provided on the fourth day. Discussions on grant demands are expected over the next eight days, with the budget likely to be passed on the ninth day. The session is scheduled to conclude by February 27-28, 2026.
