Among the key changes, Akhil Arora has been inducted into the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), while Shikhar Agrawal has been reassigned. The reshuffle also includes new appointments for the divisional commissioners of Kota and Bharatpur.

Details of the Transfers
The transfer list, issued by the Joint Secretary to the Governor, includes 48 IAS officers. Notably, no district collectors have been included in this round, suggesting another list could be released in the coming days.

Senior Officers Get New Responsibilities
Akhil Arora, a 1993-batch IAS officer, previously served as ACS of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). He has now been appointed as the ACS in the Chief Minister’s Office, while continuing to oversee PHED operations.

Shikhar Agrawal, also a 1993-batch IAS officer and former Additional Chief Secretary in the CMO, has been reassigned to multiple roles. He will now handle the Industries, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Public Sector Undertakings, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Special Officer, Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority, Allocation, Non-Resident Indian Affairs, and Investment Promotion Bureau Rajasthan. Additionally, he has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of RECO Jaipur and RASICO.

Divisional Commissioners of Kota and Bharatpur Changed
The reshuffle also impacted the state’s divisional commissioners. IAS officer Nalini Kathotia (2010 batch) has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Bharatpur, replacing Tina Soni, who has been assigned as Secretary in the Finance Department. Kota division also sees a change, with IAS Anil Kumar Agrawal (2011 batch) appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner. He previously served as Commissioner of Departmental Inquiries.

This major reshuffle reflects the new Chief Secretary’s efforts to streamline administration and place experienced officers in key positions across the state.
