Rain, Clouds and Fog Likely in Rajasthan on February 1; Weather Update

Jaipur, Jan 31:Rajasthan’s weather continues to be influenced by a western disturbance, bringing fluctuations across the state. Several districts, including Jaipur, are expected to experience light rain, cloudy skies, and fog, while eastern regions have been issued warnings of hailstorms. Western districts like Jodhpur are expected to remain clear and dry with stable temperatures.

Jaipur and Shekhawati: Clouds and Light Rain

In the state capital Jaipur, increased humidity on Saturday morning led to a chill in the air, although temperatures dropped slightly in the afternoon as the sun appeared. The weather department has forecast light rain for Jaipur, as well as parts of the Shekhawati and Bharatpur divisions. Minor fluctuations in temperature may also be observed in these areas.

February 1 Forecast: Rain, Thunder and Hail in Eastern Rajasthan

On February 1, the western disturbance is expected to continue its impact. Scattered to moderate rainfall is likely across Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, and Bikaner divisions. In eastern Rajasthan, districts may witness thunderstorms accompanied by hail, prompting authorities to issue weather advisories.

Northern and Northwestern Areas: Fog and Light Rain

In northern and northwestern districts including Ganganagar and Hanumangarh, dense fog is likely in the morning, along with a possibility of light rain. Residents are advised to exercise caution while commuting due to reduced visibility.

Jodhpur and Western Rajasthan: Clear Skies

The western parts of Rajasthan, particularly Jodhpur, are expected to remain mostly clear with stable temperatures on February 1. No significant rainfall is forecast in these regions, and dry conditions will continue.
