Fatehabad, Haryana: A playful puppy had a heart-stopping adventure in Lahariya village, Fatehabad district, when it fell into a 25-foot deep well outside a house. The incident left locals and rescuers astonished when they discovered an unexpected companion inside the well — a snake.
The Animal Cruelty Prevention Committee in Fatehabad was alerted by villagers, and Navjot Singh Dhillon led a rescue team to the site. The well had a heavy gravel cover that could not be removed by hand, so a tractor was used to lift it.
A Miraculous Rescue
As soon as the cover was removed and rescuers peered inside, they were stunned. The puppy was unharmed, calmly sitting inside the well, and next to it was a snake. Despite the precarious situation, Dhillon and his team successfully rescued both the puppy and the snake.
After the rescue, Dhillon remarked, “Jako rakhe Saiyaan, maar sake na koy” — meaning, what is meant to survive, cannot be harmed. Against all odds, both the puppy and the snake emerged safe and sound, a remarkable turn of events that seemed almost miraculous.
