Man Caught Riding Scooter with ‘420’ Number Plate and ‘Killer’ T-Shirt — Faridabad Police Nab Social Media Show-Off

Faridabad: In a bizarre incident that stirred local residents and social media alike, a young man from Faridabad was caught roaming the city on a scooter with “420” written on the number plate and “Killer” emblazoned across his T-shirt. The man, identified as Lakhan, a resident of Gali No. 1, Ghazipur Road, was posting videos of his antics online to create fear and gain attention. The Dabua police station team has now taken him into custody.

According to the police, Lakhan used to run a meat shop, which he had recently shut down. Instead of working, he began roaming around the city wearing the “Killer” shirt and riding his scooter marked “420,” shooting videos and uploading them on social media platforms. His intention, police say, was to spread panic and notoriety among the public.

Police officials said that the suspect was difficult to trace initially, as he had not revealed his real identity online. However, a detailed probe into his social media accounts helped investigators track him down. Acting on this information, a team from Dabua Police Station, led by Station House Officer Ranbir Singh, raided his house and detained him. His scooter has also been seized.

During interrogation, Lakhan reportedly confessed that he used to slaughter chickens for a living, but quit the trade after developing feelings of guilt. In a strange turn of behavior, he then started wearing a shirt labeled “Killer” to express his remorse and wrote “420” on his scooter to “look different.”

Police said a formal case has been registered against him for creating public nuisance and violating traffic norms. Officials also warned that such acts of self-styled “social media stardom” will not be tolerated and stern action will be taken against those trying to disturb public peace.
