Baba Bageshwar’s Health Affected During Dharma Yatra, Says—“I Am Not Doing Politics, I Am Protecting Religion”

):
The rising pollution seems to have taken a toll on Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, who has been suffering from cough and cold for the past three days. During his ongoing Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra, Baba has been frequently sipping tea, rubbing his nose, and showing visible signs of fatigue. After walking barely a kilometer, he was seen sitting on the roadside to rest, yet continued to chant praises of the villages along the route.

During the journey, he interacted warmly with sanitation workers and women of Atoha village, even sharing tea with them. Before addressing a public gathering at a sugar mill, Baba appeared visibly tired—so much so that as soon as he sat on the sofa on stage, he dozed off. When he woke up, he humorously admitted that he had fallen asleep and missed the saints’ sermons, calling it “unfortunate” for a saint to sleep during discourse.

He then added, “I am hungry now, and I’ll have my meal. You all should also eat and move forward on the path of righteousness.”

“I Am Not in Politics”

In the past two days, Baba Dhirendra Shastri has reiterated three times that he is not involved in politics. “I am not seeking votes nor doing politics,” he clarified. “This yatra is for your future. Wake up and protect your Dharma. If Dharma survives, the nation will survive—and only then will you be safe.”

Notably, several political figures have extended their support to his yatra, including Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, current CM Nayab Saini, and MP Manoj Tiwari.

A Movement of Devotion and Discipline

The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra led by Baba Bageshwar is not just a spiritual journey—it is a demonstration of devotion, unity, and discipline. From volunteers sweeping the path ahead, to cooks preparing food, to the sound engineers and tent managers—all work in perfect coordination without instruction. Each member of the team carries a deep sense of faith and responsibility, ensuring the yatra proceeds smoothly.
