Baba Bageshwar Calls for Hindu Unity: “Without Dharma, the Nation Cannot Survive

Faridabad, Haryana: Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, leading the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra across three states, reached Faridabad on Sunday on the journey from Delhi to Vrindavan. Thousands of devotees participated in the march, during which Baba Bageshwar urged Hindus to awaken and unite beyond caste divisions, emphasizing the importance of both religion (Dharma) and nation.

Addressing the media, Baba Shastri said the yatra aims to promote awareness about protecting Hindu heritage while striving for a society free from caste discrimination, untouchability, and religious intolerance. He stressed: “If Dharma does not survive, the nation cannot survive, and if the nation does not survive, Dharma will also be lost. Both are essential for everyone.”

He also highlighted the role of the armed forces, saying: “The army works not for salaries, but for the nation.” In this spirit, he appealed to the public to donate in support of the Indian army.

A Call for Unity

Baba Bageshwar urged Hindus to come together immediately, saying: “Unite today, or perhaps never.” A visually impaired devotee participating in the yatra shared that caste and religious divisions have fragmented Hindu society, and the march is a means to restore unity among Hindus.

The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra 2025, which began on 7 November from Katyayani Mandir, Chhatarpur, will continue until 16 November, culminating in Vrindavan. Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is actively sharing glimpses of the yatra on social media and encouraging maximum public participation.
