Al-Falah University Denies Any Link to Detained Doctors in Delhi Blast Case — Vice Chancellor Issues Strong Rebuttal

Following the inclusion of its name in connection with the Delhi blast case, Faridabad-based Al-Falah University has issued an official statement categorically denying all allegations made against the institution.

In a firm response, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhupinder Kaur Anand clarified that the university has no association whatsoever with the two doctors who have been detained by investigating agencies. “We are deeply saddened and distressed by this unfortunate incident and strongly condemn it. Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with all the innocent people affected by these tragic events,” said Dr. Anand.

“False and Misleading Reports Being Circulated”

The Vice Chancellor further stated that certain online platforms are deliberately spreading false and misleading information to tarnish the image of the university. “Al-Falah University strictly rejects such baseless claims. No explosive materials or chemicals are stored on campus. All laboratories are used solely for academic and training purposes,” she emphasized.

Established as a university in 2014, Al-Falah has been operating various educational institutions since 1997 and is recognized under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. The institution has been running an MBBS program since 2019, and many of its alumni are serving in reputed hospitals across India and abroad.

“Committed to Law, Ethics, and Safety”

Expressing grief over the recent developments, Dr. Anand reiterated that Al-Falah University has always adhered to the highest standards of law, ethics, and safety. She appealed to media outlets and the public not to spread unverified information and to rely only on official communications issued by the university.
