Prayagraj: The sacred Sangam of Prayagraj is once again witnessing the spiritual vibrancy of the Magh Mela. Alongside thousands of devotees from across India, international pilgrims are also immersing themselves in India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. Among them is 22-year-old Lucrezia from Milan, Italy, who has arrived at the mela with her father after visiting Neemsaranya.
Lucrezia described her experience at the Magh Mela as “unparalleled peace and spiritual solace,” adding that the atmosphere here inspires her to return repeatedly. She had previously attended the 2025 Maha Kumbh, where she took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam, experiencing profound calm and spiritual energy. “The culture, traditions, and spiritual environment of India draw me back every time,” she said.
Time at Ashram and Spiritual Learning
During the mela, Lucrezia is staying at the camp of Manmauji Rampuri from Rampuri Sitapur, near Neemsaranya. Accompanied by her father, she is spending time in the company of saints, engaging in meditation, spiritual discussions, and learning about Sanatan Dharma. The saints noted that Lucrezia’s attraction to Sanatan Dharma continues to grow, motivating her repeated visits to India.
She shared that her spiritual journey began with an initial meeting with a revered saint, which created a deep connection. “Once here, I don’t feel like leaving. The environment is extremely positive, and people are simple and welcoming,” she said. Her father described the trip as a memorable and spiritually enriching experience.
Praise for Government Arrangements
Lucrezia also expressed satisfaction with the mela’s management. She praised the state government and local administration for efficient traffic management, which has minimized congestion. “The security arrangements by the Uttar Pradesh government are commendable,” she added.
The Magh Mela continues to stand out as a celebration of faith, culture, and global spiritual connection, attracting devotees from near and far.
