Powerful Blast Shakes Ghaziabad Village, Roof of House Blown Off, Man Injured

Ghaziabad: Panic gripped Masuri village in Ghaziabad on Thursday night when a massive explosion rocked a house where illegal firecrackers were being manufactured. The blast was so intense that a portion of the house roof was blown off, and a young man identified as Danish sustained serious injuries. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

The incident occurred in a rented house under the jurisdiction of Masuri police station, near the National Capital Region. Preliminary reports indicate that the house was being used for the illegal production of fireworks when a sudden fire in the gunpowder stock triggered the explosion. Danish, who was inside the house at the time, suffered severe injuries. The blast created fear among nearby residents, who rushed to the site immediately.

Police and local authorities reached the spot as soon as they were informed. ACP Masuri, Lipi Nagayach, stated that they received a call through Dial 112 about a fire in Masuri village, and upon arrival, they found that an explosion had occurred inside the rented house. Danish was confirmed to be injured, while no other individuals sustained serious injuries.

The police have maintained law and order at the site and are conducting a detailed investigation. A case has been registered against Danish under relevant sections at Masuri police station, and further legal proceedings are underway.
