
Gopalganj: Praising the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Member of Parliament Dr. Alok Kumar Suman described his achievements as a landmark in Indian politics. Dr. Suman highlighted that since India’s independence in 1947, Nitish Kumar is the first leader in the country to take oath as Chief Minister ten times, a feat recognized by the World Book of Records, London, which awarded him a certificate of commendation.
Dr. Suman emphasized that Bihar, once tagged as “Bimaru,” has transformed under Nitish Kumar’s visionary governance and the implementation of the “Saat Nishchay” (Seven Resolves) initiatives, elevating the state to the category of developed regions.
“Saat Nishchay-3” to Boost Employment and Income
Highlighting the Chief Minister’s flagship programs, Dr. Suman said, “While the first phase of Saat Nishchay laid the foundation and the second phase accelerated progress, the third phase aims to double employment and income opportunities for the youth of Bihar.”
He also shared a major announcement for the people of Gopalganj: the Chief Minister has approved the opening of a local airport, greatly benefiting the district’s lakhs of expatriates living abroad. Dr. Suman expressed confidence that the CM’s guidance will continue to steer Gopalganj toward new heights of development.
Gopalganj to Get Airport Facility
Dr. Suman added that the improved infrastructure and street lighting across Bihar are a direct result of the Chief Minister’s determination. Under Saat Nishchay-3, focused efforts are underway to enhance income levels and employment opportunities statewide. The establishment of an airport in Gopalganj is expected to significantly ease travel for the district’s migrant workers and boost regional connectivity.
