Patna SSP Kartikey Sharma Targets Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals; ₹2.5 Lakh Reward for Information

Patna, Bihar: In a major crackdown on crime in Patna district, SSP Kartikey Sharma has launched a strict campaign against notorious criminals. The initiative, approved by IG Jitendra Rana, includes a list of the city’s top 10 most wanted offenders.

The police announced a reward of ₹25,000 for information leading to the capture of each of these criminals, all of whom have been evading arrest for years. Many of them have been underground since 2015–16, consistently challenging law enforcement and hindering efforts to maintain law and order.

Crimes and Charges

According to police officials, these criminals are wanted in multiple cases, including murder, robbery, dacoity, snatching, and offenses under the Arms Act, registered at various police stations across Patna. Despite solid evidence and repeated raids, attempts to apprehend them so far have been unsuccessful, causing public concern over safety.

Strategic Measures for Capture

SSP Kartikey Sharma recommended the reward announcement, which was approved by IG Jitendra Rana of Patna Range. Police officials believe the reward will increase psychological pressure on the criminals and expedite their arrest. Special teams have been formed under a strategic plan to monitor potential hideouts continuously.
