Pakistani Youth Caught in India; Fled Home Over Harassment and Affair Allegations

Barmer, Rajasthan: Barmer police have uncovered the shocking reason behind a Pakistani youth’s recent illegal entry into India. The 25-year-old, identified as Hindal Bhil from Nawatala village in Pakistan’s Mithi district, reportedly crossed the India–Pakistan border on the night of November 26 to escape legal action in his home country.

Police investigations revealed that the youth was facing allegations of harassment of his sister-in-law and was involved in an extramarital affair with a neighbor. Complaints had been filed against him in Pakistan, and authorities there were seeking his arrest. To avoid legal consequences, he illegally entered India through the Sedwa area of Barmer. Local villagers spotted him hiding in a compound and apprehended him before handing him over to the BSF, who then coordinated with the police.

Details of the Case
Barmer Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena stated that following his arrest, thorough questioning confirmed the nature of the allegations against the youth. He was found to have no involvement in any anti-national activities. The police have sent a request to the Ministry of Home Affairs to facilitate his repatriation to Pakistan.

This case highlights not only cross-border security vigilance but also the unusual circumstances under which individuals may illegally cross borders to evade local law enforcement.
