Jaipur: Citizens who previously had to make multiple trips for land-related revenue work now have reason to celebrate. The Rajasthan Revenue Department has launched its ‘Apna Khata’ mobile app, enabling residents to complete services related to land mutation, partition, jamabandi, maps, application status, and girdawari directly from their smartphones.
App to Simplify All Land-Related Services
The initiative, aimed at curbing corruption in land mutation and making revenue services more accessible, was inaugurated by Revenue and Colonization Minister Hemant Meena on Tuesday. Speaking at the launch event at the Secretariat, Meena highlighted that the mobile app allows citizens to access a range of revenue services without visiting government offices.
Services Available Through the App
Through the app, users can:
- Apply for mutation (land ownership transfer)
- Process partition with consent
- Access jamabandi records and maps
- Check application status
- Obtain reports of non-government restricted land
- View departmental circulars
- Access girdawari-related services
During the launch, a participatory meeting was held with MLAs from various regions of the state. The meeting reviewed the progress of revenue department schemes and operations, and legislators discussed local land-related issues, public grievances, and suggestions in detail.
Minister Emphasizes Quick Resolution
Minister Meena instructed officials to prioritize and swiftly resolve issues raised by MLAs to provide timely relief to the public. He emphasized that the app represents a significant step toward transparency, convenience, and efficiency in the delivery of revenue services.
With the launch of the ‘Apna Khata’ mobile app, Rajasthan citizens can now manage their land-related tasks efficiently, without facing the traditional hurdles of paperwork and office visits.
